Ph.D. Admission 2010

Applications on prescribed performa (available in the department of Punjabi) are invited for consideration of admission to the Ph.D. Course in Punjabi as per the new guidelines of the University’s ordinance VI-B. These guidelines are also available in the University’s Website. The last date of submission of application forms is 15th February 2010 (Monday).

Admission procedure for this Course as approved by the Departmental Research Committee will be based on the following three tier system of examinations:-

Entrance Test: 50 marks
Presentation: 30 marks
Viva-voce examination: 20 marks
Date of Entrance test: 8th March 2010
Time and duration of test: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. duration 3 hours)
Venue: Room No. 102 (Arts Faculty Extenion Building, Delhi University, Delhi-110007)
Total Number of seats As per university ordinance VI-B (4B) 13 Seats (i.e. 6 UR+3 OBC+2 SC+1 ST + 1 Supernumerary seat for PH)

Dates of presentation and viva-voce examination shall be announced later on. The syllabus for Entrance Examination, Performa and new guidelines of admission are displayed on the Notice Board of the department. Candidates can have a copy of these from the department on free of cost and also can download from the University Website. .
