The Raman Research Institute invites application for research leading to a Ph.D in the following areas:
Astronomy and Astrophysics, including theoretical, observational and experimental research
Soft Condensed Matter Physics, including physics of nanomaterials, surfactant systems and biophysics
Light and matter Physics including quantum interactions, light scattering & nonlinear optics
Theoretical Physics including statistical mechanics and quantum and classical gravitation
Chemistry of liquid crystals, soft matter, surfaces & interfaces
