Entrance Test for MBA & Allied Programmes of over 480 Schools

Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline. Final Year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

How To Apply: Candidate can choose any one of three modes to apply:-

(1) Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin / CD against cash payment of Rs. 980/- from listed branches of bank of Baroda, listed study centers of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi (Phone 011-24653382 & 41757046)

(2) Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1050/- in favour of 'All India Management Association' payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matfeb10 alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link

(3) Register online at website link www.aima-ind.org/matfeb10/ with credit card or debit card (ATM card) payment. Detailed procedure is given on the website link

NALSAR STUDENT HONOURED WITH RHODES SCHOLARSHIP

It is a pleasure to announce that Mr. Aditya Swarup, a final year student of NALSAR University of Law has won the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship for the year 2010 to pursue Bachelors of Civil Law (B.C.L) studies at Oxford University. It is an outstanding achievement for the student and evidence of the high standards of education at NALSAR.

The Rhodes Scholarships owe their origin to the remarkable vision expressed in the Will of Cecil J. Rhodes, British colonial pioneer and statesman, and were established in 1902. He dreamed of betterment of the lot of humankind through a diffusion of leaders. Rhodes hoped that his plan of bringing able students from the entire English-speaking world to study at the Oxford University would aid in the promotion of international understanding and peace. He believed that the Oxford University offered an environment highly congenial to personal and intellectual development.

A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB).

A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) for

Candidates belonging to SC / ST.

Students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North Eastern States of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.

Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes.

Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engg. & Biotechnology programmes.

The All-India English Language Testing Authority (AIELTA) of the English and Foreign Languages University (EFL-U) (formerly CIEFL), Hyderabad, the only national University fully dedicated to English studies in the Country, announces its first national level English Proficiency Test. The test has been developed by language specialists at EFL-U to assess your ability to use English in real-life, academic or workplace situations.

It is not based on any prescribed syllabus or course. EFL-U will award a certificate of proficiency to all successful candidates above the age of 16.

Test Date : Sunday, 28 February 2010

Test Fee : (1) General Category: Rs.1500 (2) SC/ST: Rs.750; (3) Foreign Nationals Rs.2000

Test Centres : In most state capitals (subject to a minimum number of candidates)
