Applications for admission to 5 years Law Course in the Law School, University of Jammu, Jammu for the Academic session 2009-10 are invited from the candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline of J&K Board of Secondary Education or an examination of any other Board/University recognized as equivalent thereto, with not less than 45% marks (40% marks in case of Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe candidates) a per the following schedule:

The admission brochure shall be available from the office of The Law School, University of Jammu, Jammu - 180006. The cost of Information brochure / Application Form is Rs. 500/- in the shape of bank Draft favouring Director, The Law School, University of Jammu, Jammu. Outstation candidate can send their request for Form to the Director, The Law School University of Jammu, Jammu - 180006 along with the requisite bank draft and one self addressed envelope of size 19*27 cms duly affixed the stamps of Rs. 50/- The admit cards for Entrance Test are to be collected personally or through dully authorized person from the office of the Law School.

Total Seats : 80

Eligibility: HSCE, or 10+2, or its equivalent examination conducted by Gujarat State Education Board or any other examining body, thereto, in any stream as a regular student with English as one of the subjects, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Age criteria: The age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years of age on the 30th June of the year of admission.

Admission criteria: Admission shall be given as per the merit list prepared wherein 75% weightage shall be given to the performance of the All India Entrance conducted by this University for this purpose and 25% weightage to the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.

Entrance test: The test will be held at the following centers:

Ahmedabad, Delhi, Indore, Jaipur, Mumbai, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Patna, Kolkata.

How To Apply: Request for application form should be accompanied with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- favouring "Institute of Law, Nirma University", payable at Ahmadabad. The application form can be directly obtained from the Institute or from any branch f Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank Ltd. on payment of Rs. 1000/- from April 24, 2009 onwards. All India Entrance Test CET -2009 FOR ADMISSION TO MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS COURSES

It was earlier notified in the advertisement in news papers that the Entrance Test CET-2009 for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS courses will be held on Sunday 17th May 2009 from 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

However, as University of Delhi has also announced the entrance test DUMET - 2009 on 17th May 2009 from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. Considering the request made by many parents and students desirous of appearing for both the tests, to avoid inconvenience to the student the following change in the date of examination of Bharati Vidyapeeth University has been made.

THE MODIFIED DATE OF THE EXAMINATION IS ON SATURDAY 16TH MAY 2009 FROM 11.00 A.M. TO 02.00 P.M

All the students should note the change in the date of the entrance test and appear for the examination accordingly.
