ADMISSION FOR AGRICULTURE PROGRAMME FOR JANUARY 2010
School of Agriculture, Indira Gandhi National Open University is offering the following Programmes in the field of Agriculture and Allied sectors during January 2010 session.
A) Post Graduate Programme
a. Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension
b. PG Diploma in Food Safety and Quality Management (PGDFSQM) (Offered in Online also)
c. Post Graduate Diploma in Plantation Management (PGDPM)
d. Post Graduate Certificate in Agriculture Policy (PGCAP) (Offered in Online also)
B) Diploma Programmes (January Session Only)
a. Diploma in Value Added Products from Fruits and Vegetables (DVAPFV)
b. Diploma in Dairy Technology (DDT)
c. Diploma in Meat Technology (DMT)
d. Diploma in Production of Value Added Products from Cereals, Pulses and Oilseeds (DPVCPO)
e. Diploma in Fish Products Technology (DFPT)
f. Diploma in Watershed MANAGEMENT (DWM)
C) Certificate Programme
a. Certificate in Organic Farming (COF)
b. Certificate in Sericulture (CIS)
c. Certificate in Water Harvesting Management (CWHM)
d. Certificate in Poultry Farming (CPF)
e. Certificate in Bee Keeping (CIB)
Fee Concession
The fee concession is available for Diploma and Certificate programmes of School of Agriculture to the following category of students:
All the candidates from the rural areas shall be entitled for 50% fee concession subject to the production of domicile certificates.
The urban students below poverty line may also be given 50% fee concession subject to production of income certificate
Note: This fee concession is not applicable to PG Diploma, PG Certificate and Ph.D. Programmes of School of Agriculture
It is requested to use Student Handbook and Prospectus for enrolling for the programmes (Except Ph.D. Programme)
