The JRD Tata Trust invites applications from students who are studying at the UNDERGRADUATE and POSTGRADUATE levels, in Colleges as selected by the Trust, in the following subjects:

Application form will be available for online submission from Wednesday, 1st October 2008 to Sunday, 19th October 2008.After which the form will not be available.

All applications have to be submitted online. Print outs of the application form along with the necessary documents, must be dropped at the office of the JRD Tata Trust latest by Thursday, 23rd October 2008 by 6:00PM.

No forms will be accepted after 23rd October 2008, under any circumstances.

Only those students paying tuition fees, are eligible for this educational grant.

Only ORIGINAL FEE RECEIPT/ RECEIPTS must be submitted with the form, which will be returned to the student after completion of the whole process. (approx. 6 months)

Envelopes to be SUPERSCRIBED “J.R.D.TATA TRUST Educational grants Engineering stream / Medical stream / Masters stream”, as the case may be.

All details asked for in the application form should be answered and necessary documents / annexures attached.

Print outs of the form should be neat and legible.

Incomplete, untidy and torn forms will not be processed.

False and misleading information provided by the student will lead to disqualification of the form.

Issue of forms does not mean that your application will be favorably considered. The Management has the unilateral right to reject any application without assigning any reasons.

Kindly read the form very carefully before submitting it. After submission of the form, you will not have any access to it.

ALL INCOMPLETE FORMS WILL BE REJECTED IMMEDIATELY.

A copy of the MH-CET result must be attached by all the students.

REFUND CRITERIA FINALIZED : OCET

The Committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor to recommend criteria / guidelines for the refund of Rs.200/- to those candidates who had purchased OCET Prospectus for Rs.1500/- which had been subsequently priced at Rs.1300/-, deliberated and has resolved that:

1. The application of the person who claim the refund of Rs.200/- for the OCET Prospectus-2008, may be considered, if it is submitted alongwith the original page of the OCET Prospectus-2008, where the price is mentioned;

2. The application may be submitted before 31st December, 2008.

Those desirous of seeking refund may submit their application before the expiry of last date according to official sources.

Application Form and Handbook of Information 2009 will be available at State Bank of India Extension Counter, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) from October 15 to November 15, 2008. Forms can also be obtained by post from October 15 to October 31, 2008 from the Manager, Publication Bureau, Panjab University, Chandigarh, by enclosing a crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 1075/- (Rs. 575/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh and a self-addressed envelope (30 x 25 cms). Application Form can also be downloaded from our website http://ubs.puchd.ac.in and submitted along with a DD for Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh COMPLETED FORMS FOR MBA, MBA(IB), MBA(HR), MBA(BIOTECH) at UBS, Panjab University, Chandigarh and MBA at UBS, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, must reach Chairman, University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014, latest by 5..00 pm on November 15, 2008.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores shall have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Details of selection process are available in UBS Handbook of Information 2009.
