(b) At present, courses open for admission for male candidates: BCom, BSc, BBM, BSc (Engg.), BEd, MEd, MCom, MBA, MTech, MSc, MPhil (Theology), MPhil (Education), PGDT, PGDCSA, PGDIM, Dipl. in Engg. (Auto/Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical), Diploma in Polytechnics (Leather Technology Footwear), Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice and PhD in the above postgraduate courses.

4. Admissions are made on the basis of academic merit, written test and personal interview for all courses except M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Sc. (Home Science), M.A. (Social Science) in Psychology, MPhil (Theology), PGDT and PGDDFM where admissions are made on the basis of academic merit and personal interview only.

5. Written test is not an entrance examination open to all candidates who apply, but it is a part of selection procedure. Only a limited number of candidates will be called for written test on the basis of marks obtained in various prequalifying and qualifying examinations/qualifying examination. Normally such lists are ready by 10th to 15th July of the session and are displayed on the notice board of the concerned Faculty/College. Call letters for written test/interview are sent under postal certificate.

6. Prospectus containing details of courses and admission procedure, Application Form and Syllabus for courses, where written test is prescribed, can be obtained from the Institute’s counter or by post by sending ‘Account Payee’ bank draft in favour of DAYALBAGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE payable at any bank at Agra along with an address chit of 8x4 cms. size as follows:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure

Applications are invited from NRI candidates to the first year B Tech (four year) degree courses being offered(details given below) at Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. The candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary examination (10+2 pattern or equivalent) from outside India only and secured 60% in aggregate in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. However, in case of two or more candidates getting the same aggregate percentage of marks, the selection will be made by considering their marks in English. If the marks of the candidates under refernce are equal in English also, in that case, their marks in Mathematics will be considered for ranking. The improvement marks will not be considered. Admission –Notification 2008 To (5- year) Integrated M.Sc course in Molecular Biology

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to the (5- year) Integrated M.Sc course in Molecular Biology under fully self-finance scheme at Yuvaraja’s College, Mysore-570005, Karanataka, India.

Eligibility: Students from all over India, who have completed the Pre-University course equivalent course in the Science stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate (excluding languages) and at least 50% marks in Biology (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply.

The compulsory entrance test of All India level will be held at Yuvaraja’s College on 07-07-2008 between 11-30 AM and 1-30 PM. The selection is purely on the basis of performance in the entrance test.

Admission procedure:

The application form may be obtained from 02-06-2008 in person from the Principal on payment of Rs.120/-. They can also be obtained through post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs 120/- plus Rs.80/- towards postal charges. They can also download the application forms from the web www.yuvarajacollege.org and www.ycm.uni-mysore.ac.in and submit the same along with a Demand Draft for Rs.120/- Another demand Draft for Rs 300/- for the entrance examination favouring the Principal, Yuvaraja’s College, payable at SBM, Mysore will have to be enclosed with the application form.

Yuvaraja’s college is the only Constituent Science College of the prestigious university of Mysore, which is said to be the academic capital of Karnataka and is the first among the constituent colleges to attain autonomous status.
