How To Apply:
Student Handbook & Prospectus would be available at all Regional Centres, up to 10 May, 2008. Student Handbook and Prospectus is also available on university’s website www.ignou.ac.in. The candidates downloading the Form from website are required to send a Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- (Rupees five hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.

Admissions
The admissions will be made once a year. The candidates will be admitted after an advertisement all over the country in reputed newspapers (Hindi, English, and regional languages). The applications should be made on prescribed form so as to reach IGNOU before the due date.
Eligibility
The candidates should be registrated BDS doctors after completion of intership.The degree should be recognised by Dental Council of India.
Age of Admission
There is no maximum age limit.
Programme Fees
Candidates seeking admission to the dental programmes are advised not to pay the fees along with the filled-in application form. They will get a separate communication about their admission and for payment of course fee. The fee for
Post Graduate Certificate in Endodontics is Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh) and Post Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology is Rs.1,30,000/- (Rupees one lakh thirty thousand only).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The Entrance Test has been provided the Student Handbook & Prospectus 2008. Please see the instructions for filling up the Form.
2. If the students do not receive the Hall Ticket for appearing in the entrance test by 25th May,
2008, they can download the hall ticket from IGNOU Website, www.ignou.ac.in.
3. The result card will be sent to the students three weeks from the date of the entrance examination. In case of non-receipt of the result card, please contact the Regional Centre of your area or SR & E Division for duplicate Result Card. The result card can also be downloaded from the IGNOU website. A separate form for admission will be sent to the qualified candidates alongwith the result card.
4. Those who qualify for admission will have to apply on the form sent alongwith the result card, to the Regional Director concerned. The student who qualifies in Entrance Test will be eligible
for taking admission in July 2008 cycle.
5. Last date for submission of Application Form for admission alongwith result card, identity card and other relevant documents at the Regional Centre is 10th July, 2008. by registered /speed post.
