ADMISSION NOTICE (2008-09)
Centre for Science Communication offers academic programmes with support from National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST, Govt. of India. Applications are invited on plain paper along with DD of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of “Registrar, DAVV”, payable at Indore for admission in the following academic programmes:
(1) M.Sc. (Science Communication)
Theme: To train the students for science communication through multimedia. It includes science journalism, science communication through Television, Radio, Internet and Print media, adverting and public relations, web designing, animation, computer graphics, video and radio production, media research, health communication etc.
Eligibility: B.Sc./BCA with IInd division. Duration: 2 Years
Total Seats: 20 Scholarships: 10 @ Rs. 700/- p.m.
Admission on First come first served basis.
Last Date: 30/08/08
(2) P.G. Diploma in Science Communication (Through Distance Education)
Theme: To train science graduates for science communication careers in media and public relations. It includes science journalism, science broadcasting, media research and management, technical communication, advertising and public relations, Health & Environ. Communication, etc.
Eligibility: B.Sc. IInd division. Duration: 1 Year.
Seats: 200
Last Date: 30/09/08
