M.Sc Program In Bioinformatics
(A 4 Semester Program in Bioinformatics with 22 Seats)
Admission to Seventh Batch of now credit - system based Professional Course will be done on the basis of an Entrance Examination (2 Written Papers) and an Interview. The Course fee is Rs. 14,000 per semester plus University Fee. Applicants with at B.Sc with at least 55% marks in any of following combinations:-
(a) Chemistry, Zoology, Botany
(b) Chemistry, Zoology, Biochemistry
(c) Chemistry, Botany, Biochemistry
(d) Physics, Maths, Chemistry
(e) Physics, Maths, Computer Science
(f) Physics, Maths, Stats are eligible
Students of B.Sc (Applied Science) of Allahabad University and Biology stream with Microbiology Biotech Cell Biol Struct. Biol Biophys are also eligible. Those awaiting their B.Sc results can also apply. Other details are given in the Brochure. Applications forms and Admission Brochure can be had by paying of Rs. 500/- in the form of a bank draft favouring "Coordinator, Bioinformatics Program, Allahabad University", payable at Allahabad. Application forms by mail will be sent after receipt of Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- with a self addressed envelope.
