The XVIII Convocation of Birla Institute of Technology for conferring the Degrees / Diplomas on undergraduate and postgraduate Candidates who have qualified for B E/B Tech/B Pharm/B Arch/B H M C T/B B A/B C A/ B Sc Degrees / Diplomas (Univ. Polytechnic) /M E/M Tech/M Pharm/M B A/M C A/M Sc Degrees from this University between February 2007 and January 2008 and the Candidates for whom the requirements for Doctorate degree are completed after April 2007, will be held on Thursday 22nd May, 2008 at 10.30 a. m. in the University Campus at Mesra, Ranchi

Hon’ble Chancellor of the University, H. E. the Governor of Jharkhand,
Shri Syed Sibtey Razi will preside on the occasion.
Detailed Notification and Application Form (2 separate pages) are posted at the Institute’s Website: http://www.bitmesra.ac.in Recipients of Degrees / Diplomas can download the Application Form for Degree/Diploma Certificate from website, fill and mail with necessary enclosures as per instructions thereon. Recipients from remote areas unable to access website are advised to send their details (Roll No., Name and Branch of Study) with one self-addressed envelope (of size 11 cm x 22.5 cm) to the office of the undersigned, to procure the Application Form. The Recipients of Degrees/Diplomas are cordially invited.
Gowns will be distributed only on Wednesday 21st May, 2008 from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Candidates without gowns will not be handed over the Degree Certificate in the Convocation ceremony and entrance to Convocation venue will close by 10:00 a m
